SOLID
STATE

Solid
state

fault
condition
exists

illuminates

"Tripped"
light.

remote

RESET
TIME

Preset
at
the
factory
for
30

can
be
adjusted
from

minutes
to
90
minutes,

for
manual
reset
only.

Pumptec
motor
protection
devices,
the QD
Pumptec,
the
Original
Pumptec
and the
Pumptec+.
The units
are solid
state load
sensing
mechanisms
that will
shut the
pump off
if they
detect low
current
consumption
commonly
associated
with
clogged
pump inlet
screens,
air or gas
locked
pumps,
broken
motor
shaft
couplings,
and low
well
yields.
The QD
Pumptec is
made
exclusively
to plug
into a
Franklin
QD control
box. It
will shut
off any
Franklin
single
phase,
3-wire
motor when
the load
drops
below a
preset
level for
a minimum
of four
seconds.
This model
only works
with 230
volt
control
boxes.
The
original
Pumptec is
designed
for 2 and
3 wire
motors 1/3
to 1.5 Hp.
This is a
stand
alone
unit.
The
Pumptec
Plus
protects
½ through
5 Hp.
single-phase
motors, it
comes with
a 30 amp
contactor
and a
current
transformer.
It will
protect
against
low well
yields,
high or
low
voltages,
short
cycling,
power
surges,
running
dry ,
cavitation
or air
locked
impellers,
water
logged
tanks, and
clogged
pump
suction
inlets
