RETURNS AND REFUNDS


Full refunds are given for returns  if merchandise is returned in the same condition as purchased.  All refunds are given by check.  Otherwise,  a 10% restocking fee will be charged for return-(we are charged by the credit card for refunds--please allow 2-3 business days for it post to your account.)  Buyers are responsible for  all shipping for refunds or exchanges. (See warranty and terms of sale page for warranty details)

We will not stand behind a purchase of a pump not recommended by us for your application or if the customer purchases a recommended pump from us based on bad information about the application, and it doesn't work.  Being accurate in the description of your application makes all the difference in whether you get the correct pump for your application. (i.e. be sure your well really pumps 5GPM, don't assume it, we won't pay to be your learning curve.)

Sales tax charged for CA sales at 7.375%

We have the right to refuse service to anyone!

LIMITED  WARRANTY  WATER  SYSTEMS AND TERMS OF SALE

During the time periods and subject to the conditions hereinafter set  forth, Central Pump Co. will repair or replace to the original user or consumer any portion of your new Central Pump product which proves defective due to defective materials or workmanship of  Central Pump Co. Contact your nearest Central Pump dealer for warranty service. At all times Central Pump Co. possess the sole right and option to repair or replace defective equipment, parts, or components. Damage due to lightning or conditions beyond the control of Central Pump Co. is NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY.

WARRANTY PERIOD

Pumps & Galvanized Tanks: 12 months from date of purchase or 18 months from date of manufacture.

Diaphragm Tanks: 5 years from date of installation.

Labor, etc. Costs: Central Pump shall IN NO EVENT be responsible or liable for the cost of field labor or other charges incurred by any customer in removing and/or reaffixing any Central Pump product, part or component thereof.

Shipping for all warrantied equipment is the customer's responsibility.

THIS WARRANTY WILL NOT APPLY: (a) to defects or malfunctions resulting from failure to properly install, operate or maintain the unit in accordance with printed instructions provided; (b) to failures resulting from abuse, accident or negligence; (c) to normal maintenance services and the parts used in connection with such service; (d) to units which are not installed in accordance with applicable local codes, ordinances and good trade practices; or ( e ) unit is used for purposes other than for what it was designed and manufactured, and (f) if three phase submersible motors are installed on a single phase power supply using a phase converter or if three phase power is supplied by only two transformers, making an open Delta system. (g) you purchase a pump not recommended by us for your application, (h) you purchase a recommended pump from us based on bad information about the application and it doesn't work

RETURN OR REPLACED COMPONENTS: Any item to be replaced under this Warranty must be returned to Central Pump Co. in Modesto California, freight prepaid.

PRODUCT IMPROVEMENTS: Central Pump Co. reserves the right to change or improve its products or any portions thereof without being obligated to provide such a change or improvement for units sold and/or shipped prior to such a change or improvement.

LIABILITY LIMITATION: IN NO EVENT SHALL CENTRAL PUMP CO. BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM OR RELATED IN ANY MANNER TO ANY CENTRAL PUMP PRODUCT OR PARTS THEREOF. PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE MAY. RESULT FROM IMPROPER INSTALLATION. CENTRAL PUMP DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY, INCLUDING LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY, FOR IMPROPER INSTALLATION--CENTRAL PUMP RECOMMENDS FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE INSTALLATION MANUAL. WHEN IN DOUBT, CONSULT A  PROFESSIONAL.

APPLICABLE LAW: The terms and conditions applicable to the transaction provided for herein shall be determined and construed in accordance with and shall be governed by, the laws of the State of California and buyer and Company agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the appropriate State and Federal Court within Stanislaus County, California for purchase of resolving any dispute or claim arising in connection with said transaction.
