Gallons per minute required-

The amount of water that must be produced by the pump to provide satisfactory performance. The pump should be capable of delivering the total water requirement for domestic use in 2 hours of continuous operation. In general, 8 to 10 gallons per minute will cover any two major uses at the same time. The pump can only deliver as much water as the well can produce.
